Asciidoc editor in Jetbrains¶
I'm using the Webstorm IDE of Jetbrains. It should also work for other Jetbrains IDEs.
TBC
Add text/asciidoc as mimetype¶
If there is no Asciidoc definition under /usr/share/mime/packages,
create a local definition file.
:::: {}
::: title
file:///home/rolf/.local/share/mime/packages/asciidoc.xml
:::
Update the known mimetypes. ::::
$ update-mime-database ~/.local/share/mime
Associate Asciidoc files with Jetbrains Webstorm¶
In the Webstorm desktop file, add text/asciidoc to the list for the
MimeType setting. See the last line in the example below.
:::: {}
::: title
file:///home/rolf/.local/share/applications/jetbrains-webstorm.desktop
:::
Update the known applications. ::::
$ update-desktop-database ~/.local/share/applications
Now, when clicking Edit this Page in the toolbar of a page, Firefox should offer to open the file in Webstorm.
