Is it possible to request a new password, when you don't have access to the e-mail address you used to sign up with on mastodon.social, in 2017?

@wendyhk @BjornW I think your only hope is to contact the staff@mastodon.social — but it should be hard 🙂 They'll have to somehow verify in a different way that the person on the new email address is really the person who owned the registered address in the past. Otherwise they're open to having accounts hijacked by social engineering…
