Privacy¶
I am trying to make this a privacy-friendly website.
Cookies and local storage¶
The website uses almost no cookies or data on your computer.
Only in pages with tabbed content (where you can for instance switch between code and preview), the website stores the tab you selected last. This does reveal you visited a page on my website where the tab name was used.
Optional Google form
On my contact page, you can choose to load a Google form that makes it easy to book an appointment with me.
You will have to click a button to accept that Google will then store possible tracking information on your computer.
External files and data¶
I do my best to serve all necessary files from my own website.
For instance, my links to YouTube videos consist of a locally hosted thumbnail image, and a link to YouTube.
Logging and tracking¶
My hosting provider does use logging for technical purposes, so your IP address will end up in those logs. They also provide me with AWStats for basic aggregated statistics, without even a country-level split of where visitors come from.
